I listened to the CBC here in Western, NY as the signal from Canada was always stronger than American stations. On AM radio I listened to Theater 10:30 in the 60s in my bed hiding under the covers with a transistor radio. This show must have gone on way beyond the 50s.
I was contacted awhile back from someone who works at CBC Radio and was kind enough to do a little poking around. Apparently the show aired from September of 1968 through 1971. Far newer than I had thought, but a fun series for sure.
