Regarding the title of this episode, I have an 'anthology' book by Alfred Hitchcock named 'Alfred Hitchcok's Ghostly Gallery".

In it is a story called 'The Upper Berth' by F. Marion Crawford.

I pulled out the book and can say with 100% certainty that the podcast story and the one in my book are the same. There are, of course, changes to make it suitable for a radio program.

Whether the original radio broadcast story was called The Upper Berth, I don't know.

Hope this helps!
