This week we hear first from Pat Novak, For Hire and The Mysterious Set Of Books from August 10, 1947. Then after Believe It Or Not, it’s Jack Webb in Dragnet and The Big Watch from April 13, 1950.
The show begins this week with The Adventures Of The Falcon and The Case Of The Un-Silent Butler from March 11, 1951. Then it’s Incredible But True and Trail Of The Werebeast. Cloak And Dagger will finish the show with Swastika On The Windmill from July 30, 1950.
This week it’s a mystery episode from the South African sci-fi series The Challenge Of Space. We’ll call it The Centauries for now, and I’ll see if I can find the correct title (if that’s not it) later on. It may have first aired December 1, 1970.
Happy Halloween! This week we’ve got two from Quiet Please beginning with an episode from April 19, 1948 titled Clarissa. We’ll follow that up with Don’t Tell Me About Halloween from October 27, 1947.
Today marks the 71st anniversary of the infamous War Of The Worlds broadcast. It’s only fitting we hear it again today. From the Mercury Theater On The Air, it first aired October 30, 1938.
