Sounds like my intro got cut out. Sorry!
Wednesday means your favorite episodes of golden age horror! Let me know your favorite episode by emailing [email protected], and including “My horror favorite” (or similar) in the subject line.
We hear one of my favorite episodes from The Hall Of Fantasy this week. The Shadow People first aired September 5, 1952.

What a great episode. Deliciously creepy. Perfect choice for the first evening of autumn. Thanks.
You used ‘The Shadow People’ less than a year ago… H203, November 7, 2009.
I’m especially aware of this since I listened to that episode only last night, well, actually early this morning, as a substitute to tide me over until you put out the new Horror episode today.
Well, wasn’t I setting myself up for disappointment!
I agree that this is a great episode, but I find myself pretty incapable of getting excited about hearing again tonight. Of course, when it comes to extremes like having already listened H203 within the past 24 hours, I imagine it’s safe to assume that I’m in a minority of one.
Regardless, Tsk Tsk! I thought The Horror Replay was on Saturdays!
Kafkaz, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
K.Sexton,
Horror Replay was always on Wednesdays. Saturday has always been shows we haven’t heard yet (the supply of which is dwindling). Sorry to disappoint.
Yeah, I realized that I was confused about that point shortly after posting. It had been long, long day. Would’ve edited/deleted the comment, but can’t, so, there were are!
Wasn’t there something about The Horror Replay ending recently? Perhaps that’s what threw me off…
Anyways, absolutely love what you’re doing here, so please keep up the good work.
This is one show you definitely don’t want to listen to with the lights off. The concept of Shadow People who would snatch you into their netherworld recalls to mind the old Little Orphan poem, “The goblins will get you if you don’t want out.”
