Chambers’ classic collection of stories, “The King in Yellow”. “The Mask” is one of the first four stories which share one connecting thread. That is the text of a play called “The King in Yellow” – we never read it in full, only exerpts at the beginning of the stories. Like the Necronomicon, setting your eyes of the play will make you go mad.
