Pretty intense. The beginning and the end with Bogart’s magnificent drama. Where could one go frm there? The mother’s role wasn’t defined enough and it all happened too quickly. Seems like a nutshell version. But it was interesting and entertaining. Pretty rough conscience on that kid. Maybe he really didn’t kill the guy. Maybe he jsut tought he did. It was an accident anyway. Guess we’ll never know.
