Space Patrol was one of those kiddie sci-fi dramas that ran on both radio and Tv with the same cast. Sponsored by Ralston cereals, it became part of the Saturday morning line-up of shows for kids. Ralston sponsored the famous cowboy star Tom Mix in a long running radio serial (no pun intended) from 1933 to 1950. Even though Space Patrol offered in-box and send away premiums, Ralston still ran Tom Mix ads for some items they still had in overstock. Ralston even offered a complete rocketship playhouse as one of their final premiums.
