Closing the Forum

The forum will be shut down this coming Monday, September, 7.  There doesn’t seem to be much interest in it anymore, and since the domain name expires in a few days it’s as good a time as any to close it down.

My apologies to those who’ll miss it, and thanks to those who’ve enjoyed it in the past.

This does not effect this site, or the podcasts.

I am so sorry your Forum is closing down. I think you are wrong in a lack of interest … Whenever they came in my E-mailbox, I opened and saved them (if I liked the show). Does this mean the station will close, too? Gosh, I hope not! GOD BLESS you in whatever you decide to do. Sincerely, Rosemary E. Lloyd, Elberon, NJ

I’m so sorry to hear you are shutting down Reliicradio. I listen to it when I can during the day, and Always at nighttime while I go to sleep. But I know how it is when you are trying to do something special and it seems not enough people really care. It has been a fine couple years listening to your show. Thank you so very much. I wonder what you will do with the extra time you get? I’m sure you can think of something. Play with Grandkids is always high on my list. Wishing you and yours the very best.

    • Well that’s a relief because, gosh darn it, you’ve got the one of the best podcasts around! I’ve been listening for years. Plus, your voice at the intro is soothing. You might want to consider a job in audio books – I’d be a fan for sure. Keep it going please and thank you.

  3. I just found Relic Radio. I sure enjoy the programs. I did not know about the forum till this email. Bless you for these programs.

  4. So sorry to see the forum only go. I haven’t visited in quite a while. You were a good host to it and I know it was also time consuming. Love all your podcasts. We will come after you should you ever think of stopping those. Lots of copycats but Relic Radio is the very best.

  5. Damn, this really makes me sad… while I haven’t had any time for this or any other forum in the past few years, the RR forum has always had a special place in my heart and I will always remember it with fondness and nostalgia… those were truly good times, the little group that formed was just amazing. I have so many nice memories from that time, and no, little memories are not necessarily less important than big memories. It was such a cozy place… too bad no one has been able to take our place when our lives got to be too busy…
Thank you for it, Jim, it’ll always be a little nice corner in my inner secret garden I’ll go to now and then.
