This week we’ll hear a radio version of the 1944 film The Uninvited, which was based on the novel Uneasy Freehold by Dorothy MacArdle published in 1942. This version comes from the Screen Director’s Playhouse, and first aired November 18, 1949.
We’ll hear from Escape this week, and their adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s story The Birds. This episode aired July 10, 1954. Hitchcock would give us a film version of this one in 1963.
