Browsing: The Horror

Our horror favorite this week comes from Bob.  He wanted to hear Valse Triste from Lights Out.  This episode was originally done with Boris Karloff in 1938, but that recording isn’t available.  The version we’ll hear features Dinah Shore, Lou Merrill, and Joseph Kearns, and aired December 29, 1942.

Jay sent in one of his favorites this week from Beyond Midnight.  Generally known as The Visits, I don’t believe that title to be correct according to some newer information.  I believe the proper title is The House, which aired June 27, 1969.  Either way, it’s a fun episode.  Thanks Jay!

Bryan sent in one of his favorites from Lights Out a little while back and it sounded good for this week’s show.  Starring Boris Karloff, here is Death Robbery from July 16, 1947.  Thanks Bryan!

Matthew asked to hear an episode from The Hermit’s Cave, one we haven’t heard for a long time here on The Horror, titled House With A Past.  I don’t have an air date for this episode, but it’s safe to say it was heard sometime in the 1940’s.
