We’ll hear from the CBS Radio Mystery Theater this week. Land Of The Living Dead first aired November 3, 1977.
Quiet, Please took to the air June 8, 1947 and united friends Wyllis Cooper (writer), and Ernest Chappell (announcer/actor) for what some call the best horror and science fiction series from radio’s golden age. We’ll hear Wear The Dead Man’s Coat, which first aired February 23, 1948.
This week we’ll hear from Theater 10:30 and an episode titled The Yellow Wallpaper. If that title sounds familiar there’s good reason, Suspense aired a version starring Agnes Moorehead that we heard last November. Here’s a link to that one.
Don’t forget to check out Ruby Departed on Flash Pulp at Skinner.fm!
We resume regularly scheduled programming with this episode from the Price Of Fear. Starring Vincent Price, this one is titled Not Wanted On The Voyage. Don’t forget to tune in Wednesday for our usual Horror Replay!
This week we’ll hear a classic radio adaptation, of a classic horror story. First airing sometime in the 1930’s, we’ll hear Frankenstein from The Witch’s Tale.
Next week, come back for another episode of The Hall Of Fantasy.
Beyond Midnight serves up the chills this week. We’ll hear The Tangled Way, one of five stories transcribed for international distribution. No air date for this one.
Come back Wednesday for an episode from Quiet Please on the Horror Replay!
Like that silly ghost hunting TV show, we go Lights Out once again this week! From July 20, 1946 we’ll hear The Haunted Cell. Don’t forget this Wednesday’s Horror Replay will feature the last ever episode of Suspense titled Devilstone.
Other than the fact this series began in Australia, before being moved to South Africa, I have no information. But, the alleged title of this episode of The Uninvited is Old Debts. Next week, another tale from Lights Out!
