ITW02: Tillie McGoon And The Preacher by Hawk Larabee

I had a request for more Hawk Durango, but it turns out the one we heard was all I could find.  But, Hawk Durango became Hawk Larabee after its first seven episodes.  From that series, we’ll hear Tillie McGoon And The Preacher.  This one first aired February 7, 1948.

ITW01: Susie Kimball Comes West by Hawk Durango

Finally, we venture Into The West!  It took a little longer to put together than I would have liked, but it’s ready now for your enjoyment (I hope).

Said to be the first adult western on radio, we’ll hear from Hawk Durango for our first show.  This is the earliest episode from that series I was able to locate, first airing August 2, 1946.  Here is Susie Kimball Comes West.

Thanks to Kevin Macleod for our closing music, Cattails.
