Dark Fantasy was a short lived series, airing 31 episodes between November 1941 and June of 1942. The stories usually fell into the horror category, as this one may as well, but there’s a sci-fi flavor to this one that fits nicely here. From December 19, 1941 here’s Men Call Me Mad.

With the recent passing of Ray Bradbury, a man whose stories were no stranger to radio, I thought we’d hear a selection from the adaptations done by X Minus One. This series featured eight of his stories over its run, more than any other author.
We begin with Mars Is Heaven, which first aired May 8, 1955. Then, from August 4, 1955 we’ll hear The Veldt. The last episode aired December 5, 1956 and features two stories; There Will Come Soft Rains and Zero Hour.
