Ronald Coleman presents Favorite Story for us on this weeks show. We’ll hear their adaptation of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s story Dr. Heidegger’s Experiment. The story was first published in 1837, while this adaptation aired May 15, 1948.
Our strange tale comes from The Haunting Hour this week. There isn’t tons of information about this show, but many of the episodes survive. We’ll hear The Uptown Express, which first aired sometime in 1945.
Authors Playhouse aired on the NBC network from March 1941, to June of 1945. From it we’ll hear Johnny Cartwright’s Camera, which first aired July 22, 1944.
This week Escape brings us Evening Primrose, a story they produced three times for the series. We’ll hear the first version which aired November 5, 1947.
Our strange tale comes from The Mysterious Traveler this week. This series aired over Mutual stations for nine years, its last show airing in September of 1952. We’ll hear Operation Tomorrow, which first aired April 11, 1950.
We’ll hear from a series called The World’s Best on this weeks episode. From August 18, 1941 here’s The Room Without A Door, based on a story by Honore de Balzac.
