Our thriller this week comes from The Clock, a series that originated in Australia and ran there from November 1946 to February 1948. We’ll hear The Jekyll And Hyde Gangster which first aired October 2, 1947.
This week we hear from The Chase, a series that aired from 1952 to 1953. This episode is titled Elliott Preston Is Framed For Murder, and first aired May 18, 1952.
We join Dangerous Assignment for some intrigue on this episode. From April 10, 1950 we’ll hear Recover Underwater Demolition Secrets. Apparently this series had no episode titles, or they’re lost, so one log named each with the assignment in the story.
By request, we’ll hear Country Of The Blind on this weeks show. This one aired on Escape November 26, 1947 and is based on the H.G. Wells story of the same name.
Our thriller this week was suggested by Jennifer, who asked to hear the classic Sorry, Wrong Number from Suspense. This is the first production of the show, airing on May 25, 1943, but the story would be repeated seven more times over the shows twenty year run.
