This week we’ll hear a request for The Return Of Peter Grimm, an episode from the Lux Radio Theater. This one first aired February 13, 1939. It’s based on a movie of the same name released in 1935.

Himan Brown Dead: Radio Star Dies At 99Jun 8, 2010
Even as television came into prominence in the middle of the 20th century, Brown remained a firm believer in the power of radio. In 1974, he started “CBS Radio Mystery Theater,” a nightly radio program that ran until the early 1980s.
You will be missed.
The reason I posted this here is the day of the relic eadio show June 8th was the day of his death.
