First this week is an episode from The Haunting Hour titled, No Escape. Then as a bonus episode, we’ll hear The Mahogany Coffin from The Black Chapel. That one appears to have aired in June of 1939.

Old Nancy brings us another story from The Witch’s Tale this time. We’ll hear The Statue Of Thor, which first aired April 22, 1937. Part of the end of the recording has been cut short, but the story is completely intact.
I had a request for something really scary from the CBS Radio Mystery Theater and I hope this one might come close (really scary is hard to do with these shows!). Here is Stay Out Of Dutchman’s Woods.
Escape aired over CBS stations from 1947 to 1954, and produced 231 episodes. From it we’ll hear The Loup-Garou, an episode which first aired November 16, 1952.
We’ll hear from the old hermit this week with a story titled, Hanson’s Ghost. This episode of The Hermit’s Cave first aired October 29, 1944.
Lights Out was first broadcast in 1934, and last broadcast in the summer of 1947. The series ran on various networks between those years, sometimes being brought back as a short group of revival shows. From that series we’ll hear Until Dead, which first aired February 2, 1943.
A tale from The Hall Of Fantasy on this Wednesday’s show. We’ll hear The Wild Huntsman, an episode first heard January 29, 1951.
We hear from Beyond Midnight this Saturday with an episode possibly titled, Madeira Wine. This one doesn’t show up in the log for this series, but may be one of the “unknown” listings. Either way, it aired sometime between November of 1968, and April of 1970.
