Definitely Franz Kafka and that over dramatic actor. Such miserable desparation he always presents. Can’t say I don’t like him, but oh does he paint a grim story. This was an interesting story with the essence of be troubling or such. Of course Kafka is that way anyway, so you get what you get in reading him or listening.
I am glad you put this one up. It was entertaining, for sure. I liked Into the West much better. That’s just because it is lighter than Kafka. I wonder if The Penal Colony was ever turned into a story . . . .
