John Steele, Adventurer is another new one to me! That episode was great. It reminds me very much of The Whistler, yet slightly less dark.
Hollywood Mystery Time was funny one. The lady thought she found Raymond from the Inner Sanctum hahaha
Quite an enjoyable hour! What was that show in between the two featured? I couldn’t tell if it was actual news or just comedy, but I liked it
Hey Zak! Your comment about Raymond made me want to listen in to this RR show, thanks! To answer your query, Luella Parsons was a major purveyor of celebrity gossip, along with Hedda Hopper, whose name may be familiar to you. It was indeed serious, not comedy as far as I know. This was a newsy one from Luella! Divorces, scandalous remarriages, complete nervous breakdown” of It Girl Clara Bow, and more… Cheers and thanks again for the comment that led me here.
