Cold Equations by X Minus One

I’m surprised at how few details changed between this story and The Stowaway from Exploring Tomorrow (https://www.relicradio.com/otr/2016/09/the-stowaway-by-exploring-tomorrow/), yet the tone throughout was a little more lighthearted in the beginning (maybe because of background music?). It definitely makes you wonder which was aired first, since the estimated date of the Stowaway is 1958.

I personally liked The Stowaway more, but it might’ve been because I’ve heard it first. It left a strong impression, making the small details stand out. Otherwise, I might’ve assumed it was the same play.
