Thanks for playing this episode. In Strange Tale fashion, I was listening to it and marveling at the descriptions of the beauty of space, the colors of the stars the and freedom of weightlessness on the night my son passed away. His time of death was the same as the time I was listening to the man yearn to journey through the velvet black toward the Christmas lights of the world he felt he was meant for. Christmas Lights was his childhood password to go through a door. He knew how much I love old radio…his joke was that I would be buried with my old green radio so I could keep listening. It was a Radio Shack crank radio that could pick up very distant stations if you kept one hand on the antenna and rested the radio on your heart.
